Day 2 - Afternoon Bike Ride
After lunch we continued on along our back road heading 5 miles to Storm Mountain View point. I chose to revert to my enjoy-the-scenery type of ride, take a few more snaps, you know, a smell-the-flowers kind of ride.
The view point at the end of this segment was just what I ordered. Flowers, trees, a flowing blue river, mountains in the background and the most important ingredient, train tracks. This would create a great visual. The Nikon practically jumped out of it’s papoose. Foreground, midground and background. The only thing that would make it really rock was a...train. Thank you.
I forgot one more ingredient for the shot, the only person who loves trains more than I do, Miss Barbara Ann.
Several, what I call hard core, head-down bicyclists, hopped on this day’s last segment looking to accumulate 16 more miles, more burn. Total for them was 39 miles for the day. Paul and Suzanne added a few more. Everybody gets what they wanted. Good day.
