Sun Studios, Memphis, TN: BB King, Howlin Wolf, Jerry Lee, and the Big E, Elvis Aaron Pressley to name a few, first recorded in Sam Phillips' studio in downtown Memphis.  The list goes on.   We learned a little more about how it all started and a view behind the scenes.  Our tour guide was enthusiastic as all get out, playing us orginal tracks from the studio, explaining the recording equipment used and gave us an inside look at the genisis and history of rock and roll.  I actually thought what we heard was more interesting that what we saw.  Good tour, worth it.  

Frank, I tried to capture the amps and guitars but we are not allowed to use camera flash in Graceland or Sun Studios.  I just iphone it all.  The last section of photos are from the downstairs recording studio where they still record acts today, same place then did back then.  Music and oldies buffs this is a must.
