RogersSpring 2015

Albuquerque, New Mexico:  We left Amarillo early and continues through Texas then entered New Mexico along the remmants of Route 66.  It was another 5 hour drive day.   Barbara manned the Nikon and shot the changing scenery as we slowly gained elevation n New Mexico.  TX and OK was so flat we welcomed the changing topology.  

We arrived in Albuquerque and visited a Trader Joes and Apple Store.  Nice town.  As we drove through the parking lot, there were some people dressed in tee shirts, some even in shorts, a few bundled up.   We, as well as the ABQins couldn't judge the weather.   Before we could get out of the car, it stated to snow.  Ok, only 2 minutes worth but we could not shake that @#^% storm from the previous day.  It was a tad chilly but we did our chores and finished up shopping at Camping World before we headed to camp for the night.  We enjoyed the ride through New Mexico though still tired from the long days behind the wheel.
