A Walk on Beverly Beach, Beverly Beach State Park, Newport, OR: I suggested we ride our bikes the 400 yards to the beach from our campsite to get ready for the mandatory sunset viewing.  Everybody would be there, friends, neighbors, RV campers.  It was Labor Day, and this was the last hurrah of summer for locals and visitors alike.   While most picked their view seat, Barbara and I walked about a mile north as we had an hour to kill before the sun slowly would set.  Yep, as seen above, the birds are pretty friendly.
