Camp, Cape Lookout, Tillamook, OR: A short hop, jump and skip up to Cape Lookout. The coast was totally fogged for most of our ride to Cape Lookout. Our luck on campsites locations seem to run out as this campground was limited and we're lucky we got in at all. First night we guarded the latrine behind us. The second night we were fortunate to upgrade a nicer site but still not the woodsie feel we had for the past two weeks.
This was a beach campground, a oasis for the local folks who lived 6 miles inland at the town of Tillamook. That's right, the home of Tillamook Cheese company. Again, our preconceived thoughts of little to do soon turned into a gorgeous beach walk and another one of those damn sunsets that keep popping up. This one went to the dogs.
