RogersFall 2015
KOA, Petaluma, CA: We found the Petaluma KOA to be the best we've ever stayed at, and the most costly at $65 a night. But it was worth it. Away from the 101 on the side of a hill with farm anmials all round. Full amenities with a giant pool that you could do laps, hot tub, SF Shuttle, and everything a kid could want with a play ground featuring a giant jumper, climbing wall and their own petting farm. All the kid stuff was located on the other side of a huge campground so the old folks could snooze in the gorgous weather. Exceptionally well laid out.
We needed a reliable place to de-winterized the RV, clean it up, and try everything out, do our shopping before we headed up the coast. We stayed here three days with a day scheduled for cleaning and testing, one for Hot Air Ballooning and shopping, and one day to just to rest from the travel, cleaning, shopping and death defying hot air balloon ride. Patrick, the pool was delicious.
